Human Security Report 2005

World experienced 25 armed conflicts in different parts of the world in 2004,the lowest number since 1976, there has been a decrease at large scale nearly 40 percent in the number of war and conflicts since the early 1990s,says the recently documented “Human Security Report 2005”, a new multi-government report.
The report inform us more that there is also a 80 percent decrease in the number of mass killings, UN diplomatic missions to handle armed crisis were as high as six times between 1990 and 2002, and there had been a significant increase in the number of civil conflicts resolved.

So, planet Earth today is more secure and peaceful place to live, if such is the situation in reality as described in the report, then for “us”, the peace lovers and workers around the world it is the time to “celebrate”. But for a moment when bitter facts like the daily death toll in Iraq, Iran receiving threats daily and delivering the same, Israel-Palestine crisis still claiming lives, Afghanistan still smoking, Sudan and Congo problems not all solved yet, no solution towards North Korean issue, Sri Lanka facing fresh waves of violence, riots in France, suicide attacks more common and wide spread (from Bali to Amman), increase of billions in global defense budget annually, strike the conscience hard, the heart then not gets convince to “celebrate”. Does your heart permit you to celebrate?

PLATFORM's Report

PLATFORM, a London based charity focused on oil’s social and environmental impact recently issued a report revealing that “Under the influence of the US and UK, power politicians and technocrats in the Iraqi oil ministry are pushing to hand all Iraq’s undeveloped oil companies to be developed under “production sharing agreements”.
Greg Muttit, an analyst at PLATFORM and author of the report says “The key US-UK energy security priority is secure control over an increasing supply of Gulf oil”.
According to the report, Iraq may suffer a loss of billions by losing control over its oil fields, the loss from production sharing agreement can amount to 2,800$ to 4,700$ per Iraqi adult over the 30 year life span.

So simply, it was “oil” and not Saddam.

Liberation Tigers of Tamil Ealam(LTTE) completely boycotted the presidential polls on Thursday,17 Nov:2005. Residents of Jaffna district,mostly controlled by the Tamil Tigers,stayed home and streets were deserted,only 1,700 votes casted with in the population of 700,000.
Tamil Tigers quest for a separate home land for their minority Tamils,Buddhist Sinhalese majority rules out any such option.Nearly 65,000 people killed in a two decade long war between LTTE and Sri Lankan troops,halted in 2002 after a peace deal.
The deal is in danger now,with start of sporadic violence in the region taking many lives. Fresh start of a full flow war can completely ruin the lives of poor Sri Lankans,and socio-economic structure of the small Island already severly destroyed by Tsunami,cannot afford any more damage,the need is now that the world must take serious note of this festering problem and become active to achieve a lasting peace solution for the region.
Pilgrims of Peace Org: appeals to the world leaders ,UN officials and peace organizations to seriously consider about the present fresh wave of violence in Sri Lanka before it burns the entire Island once again.

Newly elected Sri Lankan President,Mr.Mahinda Rajapakse issued a fresh invitation to Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam(LTTE) to talk and revive the peace deal. LTTE on the other hand asked for a more practical deal from the Pressident and end of all acts of discrimination against minority Tamils,and if not they will resume "freedom struggle" for a separate Tamil home land next year.
At this moment, it is very necessary for us,the peace lovers and workers around the world to urge and support both parties to consummate the issue through peace talks and promote the peace process and progress in the tiny Island.

Like Mr.George Bush,Iranian President Mr.Mahmoud Ahmadinejad too strongly believes he is on the right path,and acts like "wiping off Israel from the map of the world" will be a right act and according to God's will.The views,thoughts and acts of Mr.Ariel Sharon,Israeli leader are not different.Israeli leadership always believed,respected and worked for God's will of "Greater Israel",doesn't matter if such "holy will" is fulfilled at the cost of rest of the world.
Unfortunately; drowned in the deep swamps of Nationalism and Patriotism,most of theWorld leaders are obliged to follow such "sacred paths",that lead them and their Nations to the heights of (haunted)heavens and provides them the (putrid)providence.
Since eons humanity is deceitfully divided not only by so called leaders of past and present,but religious priests,cooperate powers(mafia)were(are)also the main players in the arena.They successfully suppressed the warm spirits of sacrifice,serenity and sympathy and provoked the powers of hate,anger and terror among us.It is a very bitter fact that never in the known history of mankind,humanity had united at a global scale,though there are many examples of unity between the groups or nations to fight and destroy other groups or nations in the name of God,Nation and Color.
Today,alongwith such "powerful pretenders" there exists another truth "we",the "silent truth"."We" believe in Peace,Equality of humanity,and welfare of world."We" respect life,"we" can feel the pain and share it,"we" are in millions,present in every part of the planet,even in USA,Israel and Iran."We",one day will change the destiny of world like Rosa Parks,on 1st December1955 changed the destiny of Blacks in North America.
Remember Mr.Bush,Mr.Mahmoud,Mr.Sharon dignity is not in destruction,salvation is not in following sacerdotal Dogmas,but is in " sharing the pain",this is the only truth,the "ultimate truth".

When Mountains Ragged

8 October morning,8.48 AM, Iqbal aged 5 was in school,Fatima,18 years was attending Botany class in her college,Zohra,33 cleaning her kitchen,Murad,45 dealing customers in his bakery.
8.50 AM,earth jolted,a sudden complete silence,all voices vanished in the thunder of huge Himalayan mountains.
8.51 AM,in a matter of moment,it was all ruined,nothing left behind,only cries of death.Iqbal,Fatima,Murad,Zohra,and thousands more were burried deep in the huge concrete,iron structures,no one was there to listen the cries of those still alive.
On the day a devastating tragedy hit Northern Pakistan,killing more than 51,000(official figure,unofficial figures are much higher)and injuring more than 79,000(official figure).Nearly 3.5 million people are now shelter less,facing bitter himalayan winter,hunger, disease,and a no brighter future.
Even after two weeks,the relief efforts in many remote areas are at very low level,no transportation available for these areas,as long stretches of many roads disappeared under massive landslides.
Local and International communities are now at the relief work,International community pledged an aid of 600 million $,but termed as "totally in adequate "by President Pervez Musharraf. He and his team estimated reconstruction needs of 5 billion $. UN emergency coordinator Jan Egeland,described the situation as unprecedented in scale,appealed for a huge help and called for a "second Berlin airlift" type action.Turkish prime minister Tayyap Erdogan,the first foriegn leader to visit the disaster area,made a donations of 150 million $,and asked International Leaders to do more.
This is no doubt a huge disaster,not only for the people of Pakistan but for the entire humanity too,we,as mankind are no doubt divided by many vicious circles,but the ultimate truth is that we are "same",breathing in the "same flow"of time,living on the "same planet".

The World's Social Status

Jose Antonio Ocampo,Under Secretary General of the UN department of Economics and Social affairs introduced a new report"The World Social Situation:The Inequality Predicament" on Thursday,25 Aug:2005.
The Highlights of the report are as follows:
1.Globalisation driving inequality.
2.The World is more polarised today than it was 10 years ago.
3.Most pervasive form of inequality is gender discrimination.
4.Alarming increase in the discrepancies between rich and poor,rich have become richer and the poor even poorer.
5.In Sub-Saharan Africa,90 million is the no:of new people who are now facing the status"Poor" in just a decade.In Latin America in 7 years(1995-2002) unemployment rose from 6.5% to 9%.
6.Afro-descendent population earn an average of 35 to 65% less than white man.
7.Less than one billion people living in the developed world using 80% of World's domestic products,while remaining 20% is shared by more than five billion people belonging to developing nations.
8.The progress towards the UN's"Millennium Development Goal"(MDG's)is very low.
The Under Secretary also told the reporters"Failure to address this inequality predicament will insure that social injustice and better living conditions for all people remain elusive...............that can lead to further social instability in the World for which every one will have to pay the price".
This report clearly reveals that we,the mankind as a social being are not improving our social behaviour and structure with the time,we are just in a "still" position.
Our global social structure and status cannot be improved by the acts of formality,there is a need of a revolutionary step,a step that creates a peaceful,global wave of sincerity and sympathy,this wave again cannot be produced by our governments,huge bodies like UN or social sector NGOs,they no doubt can make things better,but for a major change in our social behaviour worldwide a long,dedicated and genuine effort is needed by those who really believe in simplicity,sincerity,unity and "respect for life".
This is the law of Nature(proved by history),this is the call of the Time.

New Chains of Slavery

The Dark Continent,facing a new shape of slavery,the "Debt Slavery".In the poor African continent,33 countries are the victim of the category of HIPC(Highly Indebted Poor Countries),presently burdened with more than 300$ billion in foreign debt,a huge amount impossible to be paid for next half century by poor Africans in their present socio-economic status.
In recent meetings of G-7 in London,steps taken to provide"debt relief"to Africa are termed as "historic opportunity"by the rich leaders,it is not as such in fact,only 14 African countries will benefit by cancellation of a 40$ billion debt,owing to World Bank,IMF,and ADB(African Development Bank).
In reality,Africa in spite of all such "historic opportunities",efforts like "live 8 concerts",progressive plans by United Nations Economic Commission,is dying under the huge debt burden.A very simple step for saving lives in dying Africa can be"provide aid for the"poor" and not for "gains".

Paragon of Pain

A shivering cold night,I was wandering aimlessly in search of nothingness,on the empty,frozen streets of Skardu,a small town in the lap of K2.
Midnight moon embedded in cotton clouds started gazing me,its the time for the nest,I thought and with weary steps I was on my way back to the hotel,suddenly rised a strange,weak cry from a dark corner of the empty street,I ignored and moved ahead but the strange cry again broke the silence of the night,hesitated I moved towards the cry,saw a small structure lying motionless.It was a small puppy,frailed,weak,struggling for survival.
There was nothing I could do,but to take the poor pariah to the hotel,provide some food,heat and energy to the languid body of its.
I tooked it up,the moment our eyes met,a chilled wave of terror shocked my entire existence,those eyes were empty,completely Black,no whiteness,no brightness filled with unending darkness.That moment,for me too was Black,completely Black,no light,no sound,flow of time paused,I felt I was out of the Universe,floating in an unending Black hole,since eons.
With a flash that complete vacuum of voice and vision vanished,and the poor puppy breathed its last breath in my lap.
I still remember in my vivid memories,in puppy's black,blind eyes I saw the Paragon of Pain.

Wake up West!
Another brutal act of terror,claiming many innocent lives,this time in London.On July 7(2005) London was hit by a series of blasts killing more than 50 and injuring hundreds.It is suspected by the British authorities that a previously unknown group tied with AL QAEDA is responsible for the bombing.
AL QAEDA,the master mind organization behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks in US,now have became a symbol of terror in West and for the whole world,what really it is ?
In 1981,USA with co-operation from Egypt,Pakistan and Saudi Arabia,gathered,united and supported many muslim militant"Jihadi" groups in Afghanistan to resist against the communist invasion in the region by Soviet Union,one such group was led by a rich Saudi national "Osama"son of Mr.Laden.
For more than a decade latest military equipments,arms and billions of dollars were provided to these groups by USA and allied countries, and with the end of Soviet occupation all such groups were completly ignored and abadoned by the World,stage was open for these militants,they tooked their weapons against each other,and thus begun a long bloody "Gang War" in the country,Osama and his group any how survived this long civil war and with the complete control of Talibans on the country emerged as the most powerful figure in the country and neighbouring areas,this was the Time the hand made power play started again in the region.Mr.Osama and his well organized group turned into a froward,mutant monster desecrating and threatening its own creator.
Today we,the helpless,poor peace lovers of the world,unfortunately witnessing and experiencing "the Terror and war on Terror"is in fact the story that started with a fallacious and handmade power play between the "Creature and the Creator" the repercussions of this game travelled far wide and deep.Different governments,their different agencies and media both in West and Muslim world ignited the sparking situation,and this conflict of interests between the creature and creator,widely and wildly aflamed with passion,hate and anger.Very sadly and very unfortunately now there is emerging a new evil face of the conflict"Clash of Civilizations",Islam against West and vice versa.The seed of segregation and hate successfully sown,now nearly completly ripened,for many there a"Holy Crusade"or "Jihad" is on.
Today the situation is simply described as the terror and war against it,in fact this is not the complete depiction,it is now "Islamic Fundamentalism v/s Western Radicalism" a very destructive,deceiving conspiracy, against the world.
AL QAEDA and its supporters used the language of terror worldwide,on the other hand in response Western governments under the great influnce of "Corporate Mafia"spoke the same language,Afghanistan and Iraq are the clear examples.
This terrible situation is worsening day by day,inflicting great damage to the world peace and prosperity,creating matter of serious concern for all of us.This the time for West to save the world from disfiguring terror and fatal conspiracy,to move forward in a positive manner,take some staid,wise steps that soothen the souls and minds of muslims and not pierce their bodies.
Mr.Robert Fisk,in one of his very recently published column wrote"It is easy for Tony Blair to call the bombings"barbaric"-of course,they were but what were the civilian deaths of the Anglo American invasion of Iraq in 2003,the children torn apart by cluster bombs,the countless innocent Iraqis gunned down at American Military check points?when they die,it is"collateral damage"when "we" die it is"barbaric terrorism".
The above written lines by English Journalist no doubt provide a reason for serious re-thinking and a reference for reasoned re-consideration about the burning situation and "Combating Terror Policy"for the peace loving,decent, more disciplined and organized people of the West,as in reality,they are the only true source to approach,pressurize and change their governments violent,arrogant agendas.
Wake up West,wake up World,the Terrorists and Conspirators are united,to bring about the failure of unity of humanity,peace of the planet,welfare of the World.
Wake up Friends,this is the time,for us to unite too,to save our Planet,our only home.

The Dark Trade

Last year(2004)world spent only 78.5 billion US$ on aid programs,while 01 trillion US$ was the huge amount spent on war-machines worldwide.
UK,claiming to be among the top countries providing aid to the poor
African nations,in fact is also one of the biggest arms supplier to the
continent,most of the African countries buying these arms are using it
against each other and for their own nationals too.
The annual sale by UK to these poor African countries have now reahed
upto 1 billion pounds.
Department of Trade and Industry(DTI) even granted export licences to
sell military equipments to world's least developed Nation like
Malawi,last year sell to this country was 3.6 million pounds.
Arm sells to the troubled country like Angola was 31 million
pounds,sells to South Africa reached 114 million pounds,to Nigeria was
35 million pounds.
Licences by DTI for arms export were also granted for countries like
Sudan,Eritrea,Ethiopia,Somalia,and Zambia,the most deprived Nations with
very poor Human rights record too.
In the name of commercial trade and export,UK,no doubt is playing a good
role in aiding more darkness to the future of the poor,dark continent.

My "Masters" spent 162 US$ for my protection last year(2004,unfortunately,I was not aware of my "Masters'"such great kindness,till yesterday).
Dear Friends,your"Masters"too spended a good amount for defence and protection of each and every one of you(I don't know you are aware of such a act of great kindness by your "Masters" or not).
Yes; according to the newly issued report by"Stockholm International Peace Research Institute(SIPRI),Global military expenditure reached the Trillion(1.035)US$ mark in 2004.The share of USA alone in this spending is more than 47%.So,simply,last year the share of each individual belonging to the "VERY" clever Homosapien species was 162 US$ in this huge Trillion dollar amount.
In such scenario,I find myself unable to understand,where are we standing(at the edge of an end?)what are we doing?
May be this the time and subject to sign or write few more petitions,forwarded some messages like this or at-most participate in a peace rally.Work done,responsibility over.

The bloody game is still on in Dafur(Sudan).Mr.Kofi Annan described the situation as "Heart Wrenching"after visiting the area and appealled the world for more donations to solve the crisis.African Union(AU)has asked for more than 460 Million US dollars,latest Military equipment and other supplies for its Peace Mission in the region.In this "Heart Wrenching" game,all the players and refrees are busy in the arena,but where are the real "Peace Strugglers"?

Fuelling Terror

According to a new report from the Arms Trade Resource Center based at World Policy Institute,New York,
United States has increased Arms supplies and sales to some of the World's most "Repressive and undemocratic regimes".These supplies are playing a fuelling role in world's burning conflicts like,Uzbekistan,Chad,Angola,Ethiopia,Colombia,Afghanistan.The report also claims that "Foreign Military Fund"(FMF-US's largest military aid program)is now touching the 6.0 Billion dollar mark,mostly provided to the countries where human rights violation is a common practice(and US law prohibits any arms deals with any such country).
So;in situation like this there rises a question in the mind of all those,believing in the welfare of the world that,is "Super Power"ending the terror or fueling it?

United Peace Platform(UPP)

In the very vast cosmos,ours is a very small insignificant planet situated at the outer border of long Orion arm of Milkyway,for us,living beings of this planet,this is the"All"we have.
This planet of ours is the only habitation for nearly six billion Homosapiens and innumerable other living species.
Ours species Homosapien is the most developed species of all and therefore entire responsibilty of developing or destructing the planet remains on our shoulders.
A very interesting but disturbing factor as well is that out of this huge six billion population of mankind,only a very small percent of the entire population(possibly not more than 5%)is earnestly struggling and raising its concern over the World destructive policies,agendas,interests and greed of the mankind.The majority of world population seems quite indisposed towards global issues and problems,bounded and busy in business,work and daily life struggle,nothing to do with other issues.
For example,a sorry picture of our lack of leaning towards most of the global issues emerges when we find that common mass residing in Yining(China)knows very little about whats been happening in Amazon Rain Forest(Brazil),similarly majority of community of Parana(Argentina)donot know much about Timber-Mafia wiping off"Orangutan Chimpanzees"in tropical Indonesia,residents belonging to Saldus(Latvia)know nothing about the miseries of Thari people dying out of drought and TB in Pakistan,even people of Djibe(Burkina)knew very little about recent Asian calamity(Tsunami).We on the same planet are living in our own smaller worlds,very distant to each other.
A good sign of"Human Unity"appeared when USA invaded Iraq and some big rallies were out on the streets in different parts of the world.This sign though good was enfeeble too,main reason was lack of inter-connection between the demonstrations.The organizers and participants of the rally in Washinton DC or London were having no contact with rally organizers in New Delhi or Dhaka and vice-versa.
Every big journey begins with a small first step,every new idealogy only successfully can be drafted by determination,dedication and finally pursuit.It is the call of the time now to take the first step,to consider about creation of"UNITED PEACE PLATFORM(UPP)"to serve as the common-single platform to discuss and deal all the global issues of importance and emergency,for all those struggling individualy or collectively from different platforms for world welfare in different mode and manners,the other purpose of UPP must be to try to involve atleast some more part of that silent majority of world population purely in the subject of"Sharing the Pain of Planet".
With such a global impassive mood and behaviour of ours,there exists a need of gradual change in our common attitude towards world problems and issues.Importance of creating a new wave of Realisation and Responsibility no longer can be ignored and creation of UPP can be the first such step taken by the common mass to provide power to Peace and Unity.

Support Aung's Release

The Global effort for release of Aung San Su Kyi seems to be losing its rythm and breath,for no reason.
Kyi's National League for Democracy(NLD)won the elections in 1990 in Myanmar but its armed ruling junta did'nt accept the decision of the Burmese people.
Pilgrims of Peace is supporting the Kyi's issue by addressing the issue at different forums and also will raise its voice for Kyi's release during the Global Peace Pilgrimage on bicycles,we also hope that world wide support and struggle for Kyi's release will soon be back at its peak momentum.

Aung's detention extended(01-Dec:2005)

Nobel peace laureate and head of National League for Democracy(NLD) Aung San Suu Ki, who has been detained since May 2003 by Myanmar's Army rulers is facing extension of another six months in her detention.Aung's continued detention is not in the interest of progress and welfare of poor Burmese people.
Pilgrims of Peace is deeply concerned about this issue and urges the peace lovers and workers,world leaders around the world to take serious notice of this extended detention of the "lady of hope" and increase pressure on Myanmar's Generals to return towards" Democratic process" in the country and as a first step release all the political prisoners

Africa;Good Signs

A 100 member delegation of former rebels of Sudan Peoples Liberation Movement(SPLM)arrived in Khartoum on 03,April-2005,to talk and implement the peace deal(signed in January this year)with the Sudanese government.
At the same time Egypt annouced to soon held a summit of African leaders to provide African Union another chance to deal with the Dafur crisis.
These are positive signs emerging in the conflicted continent,and it is expected that these steps will be helpful in the healing the deep-open wounds of Africa.

Behind the Veil

The"Great Power Game"is on,the main agenda of this game is to establish a"Greater Shiiat(Muslim Sect)Belt in the Middle East consisting of Iran,Iraq,Syria,Palestine and Lebanon till the end of 2006.
Iraq no longer a problem now, present Governments of Iran and Syria are the main hurdles in successful completion of such agenda and so;with the tragic act of terror killing Rafik Hariri, the first step towards changing Syria's present regime has been taken,and for Iran,Nuclear issue will be enough.
After the successful completion of this agenda of creating a"Greater Shiiat Belt"the"Great Power Game"will begin between the Sunni(Muslim Sect)states of the region and the Shiiat Belt,what will be the net result of this"Great Power Game",not hard to predict,more than a deep ugly fissure on the face of mankind.
I request once again all the Peace-lovers and supporters of Human unity around the world to be aware of any such world killing plans and unite at a single platform to provide strength to the"PEACE"and march towards a"Non-killing World".I also specially request all the residents of Western Nations and Middle East to kindly pressurize their governments against contributing in any such agenda,we all must remember that"Blood is more,more precious than oil".

38 Years ago

In September 1967 a democracy process was launched by America in South Vietnam to intorduce and promote democracy in the country,election was held,the turn-out was very high,nearly 83%.President Lyndon Jhonson was on high fly at this success,he celebrated this great achievement saying"The people of South Vietnam have expressed their choice and deserve our support".
Unfortunately;history told the truth otherwise,it revealed the"Democracy Project"clearly was an act by the super power to cover up and legitimize its illegal occupation.
Now after 38 years,on 30-Jan:2005 history repeated itself in the same manner but in different scenario,it was Iraq now,selected for"Democracy Project".It was again aimed by the same super power to introduce and promote democracy in the region,and to provide"Freedom to Iraqis"?.
Time,once again will tell us the truth,was it really a"Democracy Project"to promote democracy or was an act to cover and strengthen the occupation by the super power.
Time will also tell us that"Power-Masters"can really be the"Custodians of Peace"or Permanent Peace can only be achieved through the long,hard struggle of those with pure hearts and souls filled with sympathy and respect for"Life".

On 6th Feb:2004 Bob Marley's widow Rita,with support from UNICEF and African Union organized"AFRICA UNITE",a 1 million$ festival in the heart of Addis Ababa(Ethiopia).Though the main purpose of the celebration was to pay tribute to the Rasta Icon,but this extravaganza also contributed a bit in creating a sense of Peace and unity among the Nationals of diverged nations of the continent,wounded deeply due to internal conflicts.
It is hoped that in future any such celebrations(anywhere)would be more clearly targeted towards dissemination and display of notions of peace and unity among the poor dismal generations of present invaded by the brutal forces of two WMDs:Weapons of Mass Destruction and Weapons of Mass Depression.

Please Save Blind Indus Dolphins

Blind Indus Dolphins are the very rare,beautiful,innocent but unfortunate species counting their last days in this brutal world,where in the race of survival they are becoming the"Losers".
There are only few hunderd Blind Indus Dolphins left in the muddy waters of River Indus with no bright future,and if no efforts are taken for their protection,there will be no more Blind Dolphin on Planet Earth at the end of next year.
I humbly request you all to kindly act soon to protect this innocent mammal,please get in connection with the Animal protection,wildlife saving,Nature loving organizations world wide and with Government of Pakistan.
I would also like to mention here that American Senator Bill Frist,Congressmen Mark Kirk and Jim Sexton will be visiting Pakistan in the second week of January,2005(Senator John Kerry will also visit Pakistan in Feb,March,2005,earlier dates of his visit were 11-12 january,2005 which are postponed now),no doubt in their short visit,they will be discussing more important issues(to them)with Pakistani officials rather than talking on saving Dolphins,but atleast we can try to inform them about the extinction of an innocent species,so if possible kindly get in connection with these personalities regarding saving Blind Indus Dolphins.

The Banyan Tree

Is something missing today in our lives?if yes,then what? answers can be different according to one's thoughts and needs,but for me its the "Direction".Direction of the soul towards its Real Root is missing.
I asked about such Direction from a Bishop,he replied"our church paves the way to the right direction",I asked a Muslim Imam,he said"in our mosque you'll find such direction for your soul",a Hindu Pandit told me that"you can seek direction in our temple",a Buddhist Monk told me that"chant EHIPASSIKO,and one day you'll gain the ultimate direction".But in spite of all such wise replies,I remained unfulfilled,somewhat unsatisfied.
One day I was sitting alone,near a sandy river bank,I asked the same question from Mother Nature,and heard a whisper"go and find a Banyan tree".A Banyan tree? I asked myself.
I left the river and started walking back home,suddenly;my steps jammed,infront of me was standing tall, a Banyan tree,an old,dignified,calm and compassionate figure,rooted deep into the soil,providing protection and shelter to everyone under its lap,regardless of any greed and creed.
At the very moment a wish aroused deep in my heart,may I turn into a Banyan Tree,and finally find the answer to my question.

Earlier this week when President Bush and Pakistan's President Musharaf were talking about"War on Terror"in Washington,Russian President Putin and Indian Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh were also busy in talks in Indian Capital New Delhi,one of the main agenda of their talks was"Washington's dictatorship over global affairs".Involvement of American interests in Ukranian elections and Moscow's anger on any such involvement,Kofi Anan facing American anger and recieving blessings from Russia,China and India,are these happenings indicating towards a change in the World Power Scenario?time will tell.
But;a bitter fact remains bitter,does'nt matter World Power Scenario remains unipolar,becomes bipolar or changes into Multipolar,there will occur no major difference in the life of a common man.The problems faced by common humanity will exist,same poverty,same pain,same fate,because the solution to the humanity's problem does'nt lie within the "Power Game"but in fact it is hidden in the"Power of Peace",and this Power of Peace can only be acieved by creating a global wave of unity.Intially unity among those struggling for global peace and world welfare,secondly at the grass-root level internationaly,this entire procedure no doubt requires a lot of committment,dedication,time,and energy but it is surely not impossible.

Body,Aura and the Soul

We all believe in our physical existance,because our limited five senses can see,touch and feel it,most of us also believe in soul,but how many admit the existance of an Aura,may be not many.
Many of us also believe that soul either resides inside the physical body or is a part of our consciousness,they are somehow mistaken.
There is a very delicate,colorful electromagnetic covering over the physical body of all living beings,it is commonly known as Aura,in different cultures and languages it is however defined and named differently.
The Aura is directly related with our physical state,it possess different colors,the person with weakest Aura will be having a yellowish color Aura,the strongest Aura is of pinkish color.
A person dies completly when there remains no interconnection between the physical body and the Aura,and so both Aura and body expire and vanish,while Soul remains because it is matterless.
As a Medical doctor,I strongly believe in modern medical science,but I also admit that there is another science,the "Spiritual Science",and because it deals mostly with unlogical events and mystics,we are not ready to accept it as a science today.
Other than disease,physical stress or trauma etc:a weak Aura is also a reason for chronic illness,depression and other misfortunes.If there is cure for the body,there is also cure for the Aura too.

Are we alone?

Swedish poets have broadcast their work into outer space by radio to give alien life forms -- if they exist -- a taste of earthling literature.The transmission Tuesday night(23,Nov:2004) was aimed at Vega, the brightest star of the Lyra constellation, which is 25 light-years from Earth -- meaning the poets will have to wait 50 years for alien reviews.
This is a very interesting act,but question still remains is there any life(other than Earth)in the Cosmos?
It is very difficuilt to answer the question,no doubt today we are living in a digital era but for the exact answer to the question our present scientific instruments,reasons and logics are to primitive,may be after 100 years from now mankind(if learns to live with peace and exists)reaches to some point of weak confirmation.
But its a far future,lets talk of today,if today our modern world science is unable to provide us the right answers of many basic questions,may be the other world within our world can,yes;the spiritual world,because where logics fail,mystic works.

In ours materialistic world,for most of us life is nothing but a profit seeking business oriented towards success at any cost.But in the great kingdom of Nature there exists no such phrase like"profit seeking business".Air,water,light are not the profit seeking products of Nature.
Mother Nature does no business with us,but we are trying to do business with Her forgetting that the net result in the end will be a total loss for all of us.
We are so lost in the materialistic labyrinth,that now we cannot see beyond the boundaries of our personal interests,we no longer are aware of basic purpose, principle,facts of life,who are we?why are we here,where will we go? all these question have become meaningless,useless for us,result of such wilfull ignorance is a complete self denigration.
How much we denigrate self or others,how much are we drowned in desires,how much miseries we have created for self and others(no matter)Mother Nature is always there for our salvation.
For all those,carrying a misconcieved brain,hypochondriac body and a weary soul,the great Mother Nature prescribes the remedy of "Balance",to get healed by the Balsam of Balance we must first recognize and remember the importance of two golden words "Search and Share".
Search for the soul and share its spirit or simply search for self and share the smile and sympathy.
But; it is also a bitter truth that today we are breathing in a difficuilt digital era,where one can't ignore the neccessity of a struggle for survival,for good livelihood to achieve a good living status,but in all such struggle we should not forget to recognize and remember the remedy of Balance,the two golden words,Search and Share,because we are very finite and and are here for once only(in our present form).If we acknowledge only our hand-made rules and ignore the primary source,the law of great Nature,we will be at the losing side,individually and collectively.

Are we protected?

Is it matter of pride or shame for us that the combined annual defence budget of the world nations is now touching the 1000 Billion $(SIPRI-Sweden).This 1000 billion $ defence budget is defending us from whom,wild animals? Aliens? no; it is defending us from the deadly Homosapian specie.
Just for a moment imagine that if only 1/3 part of this huge amount be spend annually for the welfare and prosperity of all those sons and daughter of lesser god,living without any hope,any dreams in their dull-hollow eyes,what would be the scenario of the world in five years,but no; this imagination can be acceptable to you and me,but not to our Masters and Defenders,they really,really care about our protection........?

It is now quite clear from recent US election results that the majority of American people still support Bush's policy of"War on Terror".Unfortunately this war itself is proving to be a catalyzing element in creating new terrorism worldwide,because terror cannot end terror but peace can.The rest of the world anyhow respects the decision of american citizens and hope their ballots will not turn into bullets.
It is in fact the"Real Time" for all the peace lovers and believers of Human Unity to consider about"Great Global Reformation(GGR)process around the world,from Cuba to Afghanistan,from Haiti to Sudan,as there is now a concrete need to introduce a great Reformation process at grass-root level in every corner of the world to raise a wave of Respect,Unity among the fellow humans,to provide them the moral,financial and physical support and strength to stand against the brutal decisions of their corrupt,lazy,undemocratic and meritless governments.Specially in the Islamic block,where still there is no major role of the common mass in their nations' political,socio-economic growth and development process and policies,where still in many countries there is no rule of justice and no rights for women.
There is also need of Reformation process in the Western World as well,as there are also Governments,Officials,and a good number of common people supporting the policies that are polarizing the world,producing grievance,sense of human inequality and heat of hate across the world.
The process of GGR neither can be achieved in a short period nor by the Governments or by handicapped Intergovernmental Organizations like UN:
Global Peace,Human Rights and Justice,Protection of Environment and Nature will be the net result of GGR,which only can be made practical by the power of people worldwide.Ordinary common people around the world,believing in Global Peace and Human Unity have to unite at a single Platform to change their status from being puppets to pioneers,to change their useless cries into voices with vision.
We,the Pilgrims of Peace believe that the first step to achieve this"Global Human Unity(GHU)" and to march towards the process of GGR is the formation of"United Peace Platform"(UPP).) PILGRIMS OF PEACE ORG: knews that for global peace process around the world thousands of Peace Organizations and millions of Peace Activists are working day and night with their full strength and energy,but unfortunately the result of their great work is not so effective,there is no power in their great effort,the reason behind this is lack of a United platform,only unity among the Peace workers around the world can produce a positive impact on the present and future world scenario.We during our Global Peace Pilgrimage on Bicycles in 2005 will work for creation of a single "United Peace Platform"(UPP),it will be a UNO like body of Peace and other Humanitarian,Environmental Organizations and activists.
I hope all those friends, who wish and like to change the world in a peaceful-positive manner,who believe in the Power of Peace will support our thoughts and efforts.

Is Iran the next victim?

Day by day the diplomatic tension between Iran and Israel is increasing(though there is no diplomatic relationship between the two).This tension is"again"not natural but planned.Who are the masters of such planning and what are their evil interests,we,all the peace lovers and believers of single humanity must work to find out the right answers and solutions,instead of becoming puppets in the hands of Masters of Terror.
The fact at present is that there is a bitter possibility that this tension can turn into a conflict of dire consequences for the whole world.
I,on the behalf of Pilgrims of Peace Organization request you all the peace lovers to take serious notice of this dangerous issue before it becomes a very sad destructive reality.
I specially request the citizens of USA,Israel and Iran that with their deep insight please act soon to defeat this deep-routed prejudiced plan,which is against them,against everybody,against the entire mankind.
I also request all those,who believe in the teachings of Moses,Jesus and Mohammad to kindly get conscious with the basic essence of teachings of these great Holy persons,their teachings are aimed towards the law of Nature,and the law of Nature is based on love and harmony and not destruction.
The seed of humanity is same,the color of blood is same,the spirit of soul is same,if there are any differences among us,all are superficial,the color of our skin,the culture,the languages we speak,all such differences are superficial.All the living beings are like different flowers in a big,vast beautiful garden.
Together,we must stand and unite to protect our this beautiful garden and not to destroy and deface it.

The Enigma of Loneliness

When one continues to feel alone and desperately tries to find a companion to shed out the loneliness,and if fails,goes into some kind of depression and finds himself/herself under the harrow,then loneliness becomes a dangerous sorrow.
In fact loneliness sometimes(not always)can become a bliss too,because it is always accopmanied by revelation,creation and finally the Enlightment.
God was alone,so He created the Universe,Universe is the Enlightment of God.
If you feel alone,try to make it a blessing for self,take it as a friend whom you can completly confide in,try to reveal and create the path of"Real Truth"for self that leads you to the external and internal Harmony.

Dafur Crisis

15 months old conflict between nomadic Arab"Janjaweed"against Black Africans, rebel Justice and Equality Movement(JEM)against Sudanese Government is providing powers of terror to play their evil game by conducting ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Sudanese Africans.
The Dafur crisis is purely hand-made and again the powers believing in"Gun Power" are successful in creating disaster for innocent people,it is estimated that more than 30,000 people are killed,a million were forced to leave their homes,and left two million people in desperate need of aid.
Few Humanitarian Organizations are active providing some relief work to the victims of crisis,but unfortunately there is no any Peace Organization on the scene,where Peace claimers,workers and lovers are?
Pilgrims of Peace Org:with its very limited resources realizes its responsibilities towards the issue of Global Peace and is struggling to awaken the collective conscience of the world in general and peace lovers in special.
Regarding the Dafur Crisis we are sending messages to several Sudanese Authorities,and also to many Peace Orgs: and individuals,we hope that together we will be able to take some creative and effective measures against all forms of terror.

The Basic Reason

What is the biggest fact of life?,that,it is finite,it is for short period,and its only for once.Life is therefore precious and we are wasting it to achieve some fake small happiness,few comforts and wealth.The struggle to get such things should only be the part of life and not the whole life itself.Here again question arises that then what should be(or)is the purpose of life?Answers can be at the same time quite complex and very simple too.It is very much obvious that one cannot waste an expensive thing for a very low priced commodity,the same thought applies for life too,we cannot waste such precious life for some wealth or comfort,there must be a noble purpose in one's life.(But not every one is capable of realizing this fact,because of a law of Nature,by which balance in the Universe exits)What purpose can be noble other than"Feeling and Sharing the Pain of the Planet".(There is lot of pain and misery in our world,can be revealed only if having the truth inside).One should first feel,realize and recognize"What pain/misery is?and then must try at his/her best to struggle against such suffering of mankind and other forms of life(Animals/Plants).
This is the basic thought behind my idea of creating an International group of like minded friends,that struggles for a great cause of feeling,sharing and solving the"Pain of the Planet".This is also no doubt the right path towards Real Happiness and Inner Harmony.
